Adwords Dashboards & Fast Food?
This week the dashboard gang at Klipfolio announced their Klipfolio Klipstart for Adwords. We’ve been working with them and got in on the beta to help us produce seriously helpful eye candy for our clients – the kind of eye candy you can actually use and act on instead of, you know, vanity metrics.
If you spend too long on reporting (who doesn’t!) and still have a hard time showing the right metrics to your client in the right way for him or her to say, “Aha!”, then you may want to give it a try. And I’m not just saying that because we scored a cameo in their press release (though it didn’t hurt)!
In a related note, we also saw some pretty good digital baloney published on April Fool’s Day. The top two that hop to mind are Klifpolio’s neuro dashboard (I’ll take 2!) as seen in the tweet below.
And the second is Jakob Nielsen’s timely description of the pizza menu vs. hamburger or sushi menus. If you read his posts first thing in the morning before your coffee has kicked in, you could fall prey to this one!
